Jody McKee created the stop motion animation featured in the official music video for Staircase Stomp by The Clamor (Aaron Louis).

She collaborated with Aaron, following his script and direction for the video, along with Scotty Hull, who created the digital animation. They diligently worked together to combine the animation styles and bring the idea to life.

Jody designed and created the characters, costumes, props, lighting and cinematography. She used the Victorian stage trick Pepper's Ghost to achieve the ethereal look of the female character.

Working on an incredibly tight deadline, all of the stop motion, lighting and cinematography was improvised from the script, and shot in sequence, without using storyboards or reference videos.

The video has been selected for numerous film festivals worldwide and won several awards.
