About
Hello! I'm a stop motion animator based in New York. I most recently worked on the award-winning Staircase Stomp music video for The Clamor, providing character design, puppet & prop design/fabrication, lighting, cinematography, and stop motion animation.
I have drawn, painted, and sculpted since I was a little kid. Stop motion is a medium that has increasingly become an outlet for my creativity, and an avenue for combining my art skills in the most magical way I can imagine.
I completed a stop motion animation course at the School of Visual Arts in NY many years ago. This is when I created my Green Guy character. We used the Animation Lunchbox with video cameras, hence, the lo-fi look!
Some of that stop motion work was selected for the immersive art experience Fathom created by the Portland, Oregon creative group Roboto Octopodo. The animation was viewable in the porthole of a pirate ship sculpture in the exhibition.

I also worked on the music video Smile for UK artist The Leano. I was selected as one of 15 animators from around the world to collaborate on the project. I created three puppets and lip-synced one of them to a verse in the song (starts at 47 seconds into the video).
